The art and science of wildfire recovery (Photo Gallery)

From Burn to Bloom, a public art and science event on Aug. 19, brought together the Fort Collins community to engage in playful art and science activities, all-ages education, and hopeful community reflection. More than 300 attendees learned how ecosystems are affected by disasters, and how we can foster more sustainable and mindful behavior within our communities to honor and respect the world around us. 

The event was hosted by the CSU Libraries’ Geospatial Centroid and the Radical Open Science Syndicate, and sponsored by Intermountain West Transformation Network and WUI Productions.
